Welgen One FAQ’s.

  • Who is Welgen One?

Welgen One Global Enterprises is an integrated healthcare services group of board-certified physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals, who facilitate an array of mobile preventive wellness services.

  • Why should my organizations participate in the mobile health screening?

Even healthy individuals have discovered areas of concern through a preventive wellness screening. If results do not indicate a problem, it verifies a healthy lifestyle is working for you. Participation will also support in making positive lifestyle changes.

  • Who is eligible to participate in the screening?

Individuals and families.

  • How do I register for the health screening?

To register for the health screening, contact Welgen One at info@welgenone.com. Although walk‐ins will be accepted, scheduled appointments will take priority.

  • Which insurance plans are accepted?

All insurance accepted.

Out of Pocket Cost/Deductibles:

a. During pre-verification, Govt vs Commercial Insurance is identified and reviewed. If active govt Insurance, there is no out of pocket cost or deductibles, so no cost to participant.

b. If Commercial, deductibles will determine what will be applied to the billing and will be consumed in their bill, thus leaving a net amount. The participant will be notified twice 2 over 180 days per Insurance regulations (attempt to collect) for their deductible portion, but there will be no collection efforts on behalf of Welgen One. This becomes a benefit to the participant as they now have a zero deductible and can use their insurance at any doctor or facility at 100%.

  • How long will the health screening take?

The health screening will take approximately 30 minutes.

  • What values will be measured during the health screening?

The health screening includes comprehensive food-enzyme and environmental (airborne) allergy testing and biometric measurements for height, weight, blood pressure, body mass index, total cholesterol, HDL and glucose. Results will be reviewed during the screening appointment with a Welgen One health professional.

  • How will cholesterol be checked?

A simple blood draw is used to measure cholesterol. This is easy and fast. You will receive immediate results and a brief onsite consultation with a certified health professional.

  • Do I have to fast before the screening?

No. Non‐fasting tests are accurate for measuring your total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and blood glucose. If your test results are borderline or high, the staff at the screening will encourage you to see your physician for a comprehensive fasting blood test.

  • If I am advised to seek immediate medical attention as a result of elevated values, will my medical expenses be covered by the company?

No. You will be responsible for all charges not covered by your health plan. The advice of the screening staff is a recommendation only and should not be treated as medical advice.

  • Will screening results be kept confidential?

Yes, all information is treated as confidential medical information. You allow Welgen One, a third party, to handle this information by signing the Informed Consent Form. Personal results will not be shared with anyone within the company. Welgen One administers the screenings to ensure HIPPA confidentiality and is held to strict privacy and security laws.

  • Is it necessary to provide my Social Security number on the Screening Consent Form?

No, Welgen One may require the last four digits of your Social Security number on the consent form.

  • What if I don’t agree with the Screening Intake & Consent Forms?
